What do we want to achieve in swimming baths?
This was the question we asked ourselves when we started on our mission to convince swimming bath operators of the benefits of sludge water recycling.
Right from the start, one thing was clear: Reducing operating costs is a priority.
But is sludge water treatment alone the only suitable way of doing this?
When is sludge water treatment advisable?
Pool water treatment costs approx. 0.02 EUR/m³ of treated water. Depending on the equipment used, a sludge water treatment plant can result in running costs 10-20 times higher than that.
Therefore it is always better to optimise the existing system to keep the water consumption as low as possible.
The magic solution is: system optimisation
Due to our experience, and by teaming up with expert partners, we can offer you our system optimisation service.
First, we assess your existing water treatment, determine the savings potentials and then develop suggestions for their implementation.
Only when the system has been optimised do we calculate the appropriate size of the sludge water treatment plant.
Maximum savings
This plant then ideally suits the existing water circuit.
It is smaller, requires lower investment and running costs, and results in a better costbenefit ratio.
There are two main waste water flows from swimming bath operation:
- the sludge water generated from rinsing the pool water filters;
- the shower water.
Our systems only treat the sludge water. This method involves lower costs, so it gives you a faster return on investment. What's more, it has no negative impact on the pool water filtration.
All our systems are designed to comply with the recommendations of DIN 19643.

Financing included
We offer you a financing model to ease the strain on your budget.
We install the plant and it is financed e.g. with a leasing contract. You as the operator can then use the savings constantly generated by the plant to pay the leasing rates.
Without our plant, you face high running costs.
Time t0: The sludge water treatment plant goes into operation and considerably cuts your operational costs.
Time t0: Financing of the plant starts
You pay the leasing rates with the running costs saved. You can use the savings not required to cover the leasing rates for additional investments to upgrade your swimming baths.
Time t1: The plant has paid for itself.
Now you enjoy the full benefit of the savings from operation of the sludge water treatment plant.
